Elko County Sheriff's deputies say they responded to a burglary call at a house on Kittridge Canyon last week.

When they got there -- the door had been kicked in and they found drug paraphernalia and some items that may have been stolen in plain view. That's when deputies say the resident returned home and told them there was a pipe bomb inside.

The bomb squad came to secure the area and found a pipe filled with gunpowder and a fuse.

The resident, 32-year-old Jerimiah Walters was arrested on possession of an explosive and incendiary device components charges.
