Phone Book Recycling Bins Available Through Sunday

Because new phone books were still being delivered in many areas last week, Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful's 22nd annual Phone Book Recycling Program has been extended for Washoe County residents through Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013. YP Real Yellow Pages will donate new trees to area parks when phone books are recycled at the Reno, Sparks and Washoe County municipal locations listed below.

In addition to the municipal locations, phone books can be recycled at area Scolari's and Waste Management Recycle America stations. Unused phone books can also be recycled curbside where curbside recycling is provided, and residents are encouraged to opt-out of receiving phone books they no longer want by visiting https://www.yellowpagesoptout.com/ or calling (800) 953-4400.
