Sparks Police are investigating an accident Sunday morning.
Police say it happened around noon on Vista Boulevard, near Disc Drive. They say a 2003 silver Honda, driven by an unidentified 59-year old Sparks man, left the roadway and struck a large, iron fence.
When authorities got on scene, they found he did not have a pulse, and began CPR. He was then quickly transported to Northern Nevada Medical Center where he is currently listed in critical condition.
Police say it appears that the man suffered from a medical condition before the accident. They also say several people stopped to help the victim, which they say contributed to his survival.
