Police Identify Man in South Reno Fatal Accident

Reno police have identified the driver killed in an accident in south Reno last Saturday.

Police say 56-year-old Stephen Christy struck a commercial building and started a fire just before noon in the 1100 block of Trademark Drive, near Double Diamond Parkway.

Police say there was very little fire damage to the building, but the vehicle was extensively damaged. The California resident died at the scene.

Police say it's unknown if alcohol or a prior medical condition caused the crash.
