The Reno Police Department says a Utah girl who was reported missing Friday morning was found in southern Nevada.

Police say 6-year old Kassidy Kay Nelson went missing from her legal guardians' home in South Jordan, Utah on Wednesday around 9:30 p.m.

Reno Police she was found in Las Vegas on Friday afternoon, but do not have any other details at this time.

Earlier Friday, police believed Kassidy was with her biological mother, 25-year old Megan Kendra Boynton and her boyfriend, 34-year old Elliott Sunshine Proctor.
