600,000 Pounds of Wrecked Navy Aircraft Being Auctioned Off

Government Liquidation is selling off 600,000 pounds of wrecked military aircraft located at Naval Air Station Fallon.

According to an official at Government Liquidation the auction includes 48 tactical aircrafts used by the Navy for bombing practice. The majority of them have been destroyed and are located at a nearby bombing range, the others are located at NAS Fallon.

The 600,000 pounds of scrap metal consists of aluminum and other mixed metals. It's all going up for public auction online Wednesday, January 30th at 9 a.m. Pacific time. The starting bid is $150.
