2 Old Navy Locations to Close as Legends Outlet Opens

Posted: Updated:

Gap Inc. says the Old Navy chain store at Sparks Crossing is relocating to Legends and will reopen as an Old Navy Outlet.

Also, the Firecreek Crossing location near Kietzke Lane in Reno is scheduled to close at the end of this month.

The Sparks Crossing location will close when the factory outlet opens because there is not enough demand to support more than a few locations.

The Summit Mall location will remain open.

Parent company Gap Inc. owns Gap, Old Navy, Banana Republic, Piperlime and Athleta stores.

The Reno-Gazette Journal is reporting the JC Penney Home Store in Reno will close in May.

However, there is some good news. We reported last week that several new restaurants like Five Guys and Steak n' Shake are moving into the region. And Friday we learned Panera plans to open three locations in the market.
