Sparks police have arrested a 23-year-old man they say robbed another man earlier this month.
Police say Stuart Slocum, along with another man, robbed the victim on Sunday, January 6th just before 6am in the 1400 block of east Prater Way.
Officers say the victim told them two men stood in front of his car forcing him to stop. One of the men then demanded his wallet and tried to force his way inside the car while the second suspect remained outside. It was then the victim rolled up his window, however, the suspect threw a rock through the window. Once the window was broken, the suspect reached inside and stole the wallet.
The victim received a small cut to his head from the broken glass.
Slocum was arrested on Tuesday, booked into the Washoe County Jail and charged with robbery and destruction of property. No new information was released concerning the second suspect. He was last seen walking west on Prater Way with Slocum.
