The following libraries will also be closed Tuesday, Jan. 22: Duncan/Traner, Incline Village, North Valleys, Northwest, Senior Center, Sierra View, South Valleys, and Sparks. Pursuant to state law, the recently relocated office of the County Clerk (now at the Washoe County Complex at Ninth Street & Wells Avenue) will remain open throughout the holiday from 8 a.m. to midnight for the issuance of marriage licenses.
Reno City Hall and City Administrative Offices will be closed Monday, January 21, 2013 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr.'s Birthday.

Operation of the Rink on the River is weather and ice condition dependent. Please make sure to call the Rink on the River Hotline at 775-334-6268 prior to visiting the rink to ensure that it is open and operating.
Even with City offices closed, residents can still visit www.reno.gov and access the "Self-Service Menu" to pay parking tickets, sewer bills, court fees, register for classes, file a police report, or enter a service request for Reno Direct.
Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC) will be closed Saturday, Jan. 19 through Monday, Jan. 21 in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
All campuses will reopen on Tuesday, Jan. 22. Registration for spring 2013 is open and instruction begins on Saturday, Jan. 26.
The Terry Lee Wells Nevada Discovery Museum (The Discovery) will be open on two upcoming Mondays, a day the museum is normally closed to the public. The Discovery will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Monday, January 21st and on Presidents Day, Monday, February 8th.
"When kids are out of school, parents often look for fun, engaging activities," said Patrick Turner, marketing & PR manager. "The Discovery is a great place for children of all ages to learn, play and explore."
