Bank of America on Oddie Boulevard Robbed

Posted: Updated:

Sparks Police are looking for suspects in a bank robbery Wednesday afternoon.

Police say it happened around 4:40 p.m. at the Bank of America on Oddie Boulevard. They say two men (see pictured) walked into the bank together and then went to separate tellers. The suspects handed each teller notes saying it was a robbery. After receiving some cash from both tellers, the suspects left the bank and got into a maroon Subaru station wagon, driven by a third suspect, and then left the area.

The vehicle was later found unoccupied by officers a short distance from the bank. Police say they found the vehicle to have been stolen out of Sacramento, California. A witness reported that three men got out of that vehicle, went into an unknown make and model gray passenger car and left the area.

The three suspects are all described as black men. One of the suspects who went into the bank is described as 28-32-years old, 5'11", 190-200 lbs. He has black hair, brown eyes and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a black coat, black Oakland A's baseball hat and glasses.

The other suspect is 20-27-years old, 5'10" to 5'11" with a thin build. He has black hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing a dark-colored hat and coat.

Police did not have any other details about the driver in the maroon Subaru.

If you have any information on this incident, you're being asked to call Sparks Police at (775) 353-2225 or Secret Witness at (775) 322-4900. You can also text your tip to 847-411. A $1,000 reward is being offered.
