Reno Police Arrest Suspect On Armed Robbery And DUI Charges
Reno Police have a man behind bars on armed robbery and DUI charges.
Police say the incidents began Saturday evening and went into early Sunday morning. They say the suspect, 39-year old John Miller robbed the 7-Eleven on West 7th Street and the Jackson's on South McCarran Boulevard with a large knife that witnesses described as a machete.
Police say later, Miller tried to rob an employee at the Walmart on West 7th Street, but then left the area after other employees confronted him.
About 20 minutes later, police found Miller driving in the downtown Reno area allegedly intoxicated and was taken into custody. Officers later found Miller had two previous DUI convictions.
