Nevada Highway Patrol Investigate Rollover Accident East of Sparks
The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a rollover accident east of Sparks Saturday.
Troopers say it happened around 12 p.m. off of Interstate-80, just past the Patrick exit.
They say the vehicle, with two people inside, was going eastbound on I-80 when it somehow drifted and proceeded to rollover several times off the road.
The driver was taken by a CareFlight helicopter to Renown Regional Medical Center to receive treatment for severe injuries. The passenger was reportedly taken to the hospital by REMSA. Troopers say both were wearing their seatbelts.
Troopers say alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the accident.
