Things 2 Do This Weekend

Posted: Updated:

It's one those weekends for sports lover. You can take part in a bowling tournament that will help send kids from 6 to 69 years old to camp. The Bowling is Lotsafun Fundraiser is Saturday at 10 at the National Bowling Center. Or you can settle in and watch some sports and if you're watching the 49ers, you have a good chance of seeing local Wolf Pack standout Colin Kaepernick on the field as their quarterback. And there are lots of art events in between. Enjoy!

Friday 1/11

Dueling Pianos Silver Legacy:

Now performing every Friday and Saturday beginning at 9 p.m. until 2 a.m., sit back and enjoy friends, your favorite libation and the excitement of Dueling Pianos! Picture this. Two crazy piano players "dueling" it out for whom gets the crowd going the most! Sing-a-long or just enjoy the show, either way; you're in for an exhilarating interactive show!

Saturday 1/12

Bowling is Lotsafun at National Bowling Center 10 AM:

Camp Lotsafun is a local non-profit in the Northern Nevada area that provides recreational, therapeutic and educational to individuals with disabilities. Our organization is hosting our signature fundraiser called Bowling is Lotsafun. Join us for a once in a lifetime opportunity to bowl in the National Bowling Center—the "Taj Mahal of Tenpins." The National Bowling Center* is normally reserved for official tournaments and special events only. However, they have been kind enough to open their one of a kind facility to help support Camp Lotsafun again for our annual Bowling is Lotsafun FUN-raiser! We encourage our campers, their families, our friends and the entire community to come out and support this exciting event and a great nonprofit organization!
*Please note that there are no bumpers available at the facility.
Donations and Silent Auctions
There will be raffle and silent auction items at the event. Each hour we will be having different items up for the raffle and the silent auction. This is an opportunity you don't want to miss out on! There will be FREE bowling clinics for 30 minutes at the stadium offered by the Circus Circus Bowling Pro, Jimmy. He will offer his services at 9:30am, 11:00am, 12:30pm, and 2pm. This is a great opportunity to learn more about bowling. All ticket sales will include shoe rentals plus three games of bowling and an opportunity to participate in the bowling clinics! Parking for the event will be free in the parking garage. Please make sure to tell the parking attendant that you are attending the "fundraising event" at the National Bowling Stadium.
