Job Fair for Veterans in Fallon; Blackhawk Network Also Hiring

A job fair for veterans is scheduled for this week in Fallon.

The American Legion is sponsoring the free 'Hiring Our Heroes' job fair at the Convention Center at 100 Campus Way Wednesday, January 16th from 10am to 1pm.

Active duty military, guard and reserve members, military services and military spouses are welcome.

And - Blackhawk Network, company that specializes in prepaid products like the gift cards and wireless products you see at local grocery and drugstores, is looking to hire more than 60 people for its service center in South Meadows.

The company's hiring a site manager, a risk manager, a number of customer service positions, tech support, help desk technicians and more.

Today, until 4pm the company will be doing on-site interviews at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center at 4590 South Virginia.
