Using Geographic Information System (GIS) software, the online tool provides immediate access to dynamic real estate, demographic and industry data, and displays available commercial properties on an interactive heat map.
"We are pleased to offer this tool to assist developers, investors and realtors to find the right location for industrial development investment opportunities," said Rick Sloan, Senior Policy Advisor of Sustainable Development for the City of Edmonton. "This tool is part of our efforts to market Edmonton as a destination for industrial development and investment."
San Francisco-based GIS Planning created the online software that powers the Industrial Land Site Locator, which allows users to:
