Texas A&M special teams coordinator and tight ends coach Brian Polian has been offered the job to succeed Chris Ault as the University of Nevada's next head football coach.
Bruce Feldman of CBS Sports tweeted on Saturday that Polian was offered the position. He is expected to accept the job.
The 38-year old Polian spent just one season at Texas A&M. Before that, he spent time in Stanford as the special teams coordinator and safeties coach for two seasons. He also was a coach at Notre Dame, Central Florida and Buffalo.
