Douglas County Sheriff's Deputies Arrest Bank Robbery Suspect

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office has a man behind bars after a robbery on Friday afternoon.

Deputies say it happened at the Bank of America on Topsy Lane around 12:45pm.

They say a man walked into the bank and gave a teller a note demanding money. He also had a device duct taped to himself.

After receiving some cash, the suspect drove off.

26-year old Jarell Williams was soon found by deputies and taken into custody. He faces several charges, including robbery and making a bomb threat.

Deputies say the duct taped item turned out to be a fake explosive device.
