Firefighters worked on a structure fire in the Washoe Valley area Thursday afternoon.
The Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District says it started a little before 5 p.m. at a home on the 3000 block of White Pine Drive, near Eastlake Boulevard.
Fire officials tell Channel 2 News that it started in a garage, but they aren't sure what exactly caused it.
"The garage is completely full of boxes of books and other items," said Battalion Chief Mike Heikka of the Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District. "So, we're having to pick through there to get to the seed of the fire."
Everyone inside safety evacuated from the home. No one was injured.
