Sparks Police have made an arrest in a robbery at a convenience store early Sunday morning, but they are still looking for three other suspects.
Police say it happened around 1:30 a.m. at the Food Mart on Pyramid Way, north of Oddie Boulevard. Officers were dispatched to the business after receiving a report that a clerk there had been pepper sprayed.
Police then learned four Hispanic males tried to take several cases of beer without paying for them. When the clerk confronted them, one of them pepper sprayed the clerk, and they all ran off before police arrived on scene. The clerk was treated on scene by REMSA officials.
Police say one of the suspects was identified as a 16-year old Sparks resident and was arrested after investigators reviewed surveillance video. The other three suspects are described to be in their late teens to early 20's, wearing black or blue sweatshirts.
If you have any information on this case, you're being asked to call Sparks Police at (775) 353-2225 or Secret Witness at (775) 322-4900.
