Authorities Investigate Suspicious Death in Washoe Valley

The Washoe County Sheriff's Office is investigating a suspicious death in Washoe Valley early Saturday morning.

After receiving a report of a "trouble unknown" at a home on the 3900 block of Pershing Lane around 12:30 a.m., deputies say they soon found the body of an unidentified man inside the home.

Deputies say due to the circumstances surrounding this case, Sheriff's detectives were called out to continue the investigation.

No arrests have been made at this time. Deputies say the cause of death is pending an medical examination by the Washoe County Medical Examiner's Office.
