This holiday season people aren't the only ones in need of a holiday meal.
Thursday morning the Reno Kennel Club donated food to dogs without homes - and dogs who are away from their owners this holiday season.
The club raised the money during its annual dog show back in November.
That event is focused on full-bred dogs, but the club's director says they believe every dog is important.
"We want all furry friends to be loved, to have a home - especially to have their bellies filled," says Diane McCormack.
McCormack says they found out about the need from the director of animal services at their annual dog show.
