Mt. Rose Highway Re-Open After Avalanche

The Nevada Highway Patrol says an avalanche closed the Mt. Rose Highway near mile marker 3 Northeast of Highway 28 on State Route 431 for several hours on Saturday.

They say it blocked both lanes of travel and but they have been able to remove the snow from the road and re-open the road.

NHP says no one was injured and the avalanche only affected travel.
