Police Arrest Man Who Tried to Stab 2 Walmart Security Guards

Police say they arrested 52 year old Reno Resident John Arpino they say he tried to stab two security guards inside a Walmart.

Police say around 5pm Thursday Apino walked into the North Valleys Walmart and stole two laptops. When security tried to catch him, he tried to stab them before fleeing the scene.

He was last seen entering a large ravine west of the Walmart.

Apino was booked into the Washoe County Jail on burglary, grand larceny and two counts of assault with a deadly weapon.
