Final Totals for Annual ‘Share Your Christmas' Food Drive in

Final totals from our 20th annual Share Your Christmas drive-by food drive are in!

Thanks to your generosity, we collected 75,455 pounds of food at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno. Nearly $118,000 in cash was also donated and will go to the Food Bank of Northern Nevada.

Our Governor's Mansion location in Carson City collected nearly 20,500 pounds of food and $4,138 in cash. Those donations will be distributed amongst Advocates to End Domestic Violence, FISH (Friends In Service Helping) and the Ron Wood Family Resource Center.

And our Carson Valley Inn location in Minden collected 95,291 pounds of food and $51,833 in cash. Those donations will go to the Carson Valley Community Closet.  

The Food Bank will still take your donations if you could not make it out last Friday.

The Food Bank of Northern Nevada's Donald W. Reynolds Regional Food Distribution Center is located EAST of Sparks, Nevada.

From the Reno/Sparks area, drive east on I-80 and take Exit 32, USA Parkway. Turn right at the end of the exit ramp and follow USA Parkway 2.5 miles to Italy Drive. Turn left onto Italy Drive. The Food Bank is on the right at 550 Italy Drive.

  • Pasta
