Sparks Police say a car crashed into an apartment Sunday afternoon.
It happened around 2:15 p.m. at a complex on the 600 block of Lincoln Way. Police say 46-year old Delmy Ramirez was trying to park but couldn't get the vehicle to stop in time.
Her vehicle smashed into an air conditioner unit connected to one of the apartments. The unit was then pushed into a living room, which struck a child. Amazingly, police say that child was not hurt and no one else was injured.
Ramirez was issued a citation for careless driving. Police do not believe alcohol was a factor.
