The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are in Eastern Nevada investigating a plane crash Saturday morning.
Ian Gregor with the FAA told Channel 2 News that it happened around 10 a.m. about 19-miles southeast of Ely.
He says the twin-engine Piper PA31 was flying from Mesa, Arizona to Portland-Troutdale Airport in Oregon when it crashed. Officials are trying to figure out exactly why it crashed.
Gregor says they believe there were two people on board, but there could be more.
