Ground Breaking Ceremony Held for New Reno Welfare Office

The Division of Welfare and Supportive Services held a groundbreaking Wednesday for a new welfare office.

It's going to be located on Reno Town Mall's property with JobConnect -- replacing the current office on King's Row.

It's set to open late next spring.

A second Reno area office is expected to open in Sparks soon after.
