Once again this holiday season you can help out children in Northern Nevada from now through Christmas Eve just by writing a letter to Santa Claus.

Just drop them off in the red mail boxes at Macy's stores nationwide ncluding the one in Meadowood Mall.

For every letter Macy's will donate a $1 up to $1 million to the Make-A-Wish Foundation as part of its annual Believe Campaign which helps make dreams come true for children with illnesses.

Next Friday they'll donate $2 for every letter sent.

Typically they collect 5,000-6,000 letters in Reno alone.
