Police Identify Woman Killed Last Friday in Northwest Reno

Police have identified the woman killed last Friday while crossing the street in Northwest Reno.

Police say 71-year-old Rosie Tyler was walking across 7th Street near McCarran, just before six o'clock last Friday when she was hit twice by cars.

Police say she was wearing dark clothing and not in a crosswalk.

She died at the scene.

Police say alcohol was not a factor in the accident. Neither driver was cited.
