Sparks Industrial, Reno, Washoe & Storey County Sandbag Info
Businesses/Residents within the Industrial area of Sparks may place sandbags on the curb of the nearest City of Sparks street. Please do not place the sand bags in the travel lane, sidewalks or on pallets. The bags will be lifted by personnel into loaders for disposal. City personnel will be loading the sandbags beginning today, December 3, through Friday, December 14th
Do not return sand bags to any of the Sparks sand bag locations; all City of Sparks sand bag locations have been removed.
If sandbags are kept for future use they should be protected from the elements by covering them or storing them inside. A sandbag stored out of the elements may last for a season before the bag deteriorates.

If you have used sandbags you want to return, please drop them off at the Line Drive Locations (Governor's Bowl) ONLY. We're not taking them at the other locations..
From Washoe County:
If you need to dispose of your sandbags, please take the sandbags back to the location where you picked them up. The map of the sandbag locations can be found at floodawareness.com.
Storey County provides the following message to residents regarding sandbags:
Businesses and residents that picked up sandbags over the weekend may keep the sandbags to be prepared for any future events. If sandbags are kept for future use, the bags should be protected from the elements by covering or storing them inside.
