Sparks, NV – Beginning Monday, December 3 through Friday, December 21, area residents will be able to "Can the Mayor" during the 7th annual Food Drive benefiting the Food Bank of Northern Nevada. Canned goods and other nonperishable food items will be donated to those in need this holiday season.
"The City of Sparks enjoys partnering with the Food Bank of Northern Nevada during the holiday season to help our area residents during their time of need," said Mayor Geno Martini. "People can really make a big difference in the lives of others by just making a simple donation."
Items can be dropped off Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Sparks City Hall at 431 Prater Way through December 21.
