Money Watch Q & A: EnergyFit Nevada

Posted: Updated:

Is your home energy fit? What does that mean, you ask? Wednesday night we are going to find out in our Money Watch Q & A segment at 5 p.m.

EnergyFit Nevada Board President, Kevin Dick will be our guest. He will share some simple ways to make your home more energy efficient and, in turn, save you money on your utility bills. He will also explain EnergyFit Nevada's winter special that includes rebates up to $3,000 for improvements to your home. Program participation requires an EnergyFit Home Energy Assessment with an approved contractor and a minimum $1,000 matching homeowner investment.

The deadline to qualify for this program is December 31st or when the first 100 Nevadans sign up, whichever comes first. All home improvements must be completed by March 31, 2013.

To learn more, log on to www.energyfitnevada.org. Call 858-2222 on Wednesday night between 5 and 6 p.m. If you miss him then, you can call (775) 230-7133.
