"Can the Broncos" Food Drive During Saturday's Game
RENO, Nev. — Wolf Pack fans are asked to bring non-perishable food donations to Saturday's football game against Boise State as part of the "Can the Broncos" Food Drive sponsored by Nevada State Bank.
Food barrels will be set up at all four gates of Mackay Stadium on Saturday, and Wolf Pack student-athletes will be at each of the gates collecting the food donations. The donated food will be distributed by the Food Bank of Northern Nevada this holiday season.
Fans also can drop off non-perishable food donations at any of the Nevada State Bank locations in northern Nevada and at the Joe Crowley Student Union on the University of Nevada campus through the end of this week as part of the drive.
This year's "Can the Broncos" Food Drive is part of Nevada Athletics' on-going partnership with the Food Bank of Northern Nevada and goal of creating "One Hunger-Free Community, One Pack."
Limited tickets are still available for Saturday's football game vs. Boise State by visiting at the Wolf Pack ticket office, calling (775) 348-PACK (7225) or going online at www.NevadaWolfPack.com. Kickoff is set for 12:35 p.m. Saturday at Mackay Stadium.
