Bighorns, Local Law Firms Give Present to Boys & Girls Club

Posted: Updated:

The Reno Bighorns Basketball team and local law firms are teaming up to help the Boys and Girls Club of the Truckee Meadows.

Thanks to sponsorships from a dozen local firms, the Bighorns will be giving 100 season tickets to children and their families.

One of the team's owners says getting children excited about basketball now can actually help out later in life. "It's a great tool for the kids to learn a lot of life lessons on following directions, eating well, practicing and so those things are the type of qualities we'd like to be partnered with," Herb Santos Junior said.

Along with the season passes, kids who are part of the Boys and Girls Club will also be able to meet Bighorns players and play on the team's home court.

The firms participating in the program are:

The Law Firm of Herb Santos, Jr.
Law Office of Sean Patterson
Law Offices of McDonald, Carano & Wilson
Ganz and Hauf Attorneys at Law
Thorndal, Armstrong, Delk, Balkenbush and Eisinger, a Professional Corporation
Law Offices of Gordon and Silver
Silverman, Decaria & Kattelmen
Sutton Law
Law Office of Charles Jones
Terry Friedman Law
Arrascada & Aramini, Ltd.
The Law Firm of Joel A. Santos
Ranalli and Zaniel, LLC

The Bighorns opening game is Friday, November 30th at 7 p.m. For more information on the season ahead, call (775) 853-8220 or click here.
