Rink on the River is located on the plaza at the corner of First and Virginia Streets in Downtown Reno along the Truckee River (across from Reno City Hall).

The Rink on the River provides a festive and fun atmosphere for your next group outing, party or special event. Groups of 20 or more skaters receive free skate rental if reservations are made a minimum of two weeks in advance.
Operation of the Rink on the River is weather and ice condition dependent. The varied weather conditions we experience in Reno such as sun, wind, rain and snow create challenges in keeping ice that is safe and suitable for skating at an outdoor rink. Please make sure to call the Rink on the River Hotline at 775-334-6268 prior to visiting the rink to ensure that it is open and operating.
