17 Year Old Boy Stabbed in Carson City

Deputies in Carson City have a 17-year-old juvenile in custody after they say he stabbed another teen.

It happened just after 9:30 Wednesday night when deputies were dispatched to a residence near the corner of Colorado and Arizona Streets in South Carson City.

Sheriff's Deputies and paramedics located the 17-year-old male victim with a severe stab wound to the stomach. He was transported by Care Flight to Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno where his condition is unknown.

Deputies were able to ID the suspect and discovered he had fled to the North Carson area. Deputies located the 17-year-old suspect along and he was taken into custody after a traffic stop.
