Last year, the Food Bank of Northern Nevada distributed more than 10.5 million pounds of food to over 210,000 low-income seniors, children and families in the region. Unfortunately the need never goes away. During this holiday season, we want to make it easy and fun to get into the spirit of giving!
During the last week of November, everyone that brings two canned or boxed non-perishable food items to the Wilbur May Museum will get free admission, and kids will get a special holiday scavenger hunt to win a prize! Monetary donations will also be accepted in the form of checks made out to the "Food Bank of Northern Nevada."
