Reno Philharmonic’s Holiday Celebration Features Local Talent

The Reno Philharmonic will hold its Spirit of the Season concert on Saturday, December 1st and Sunday, December 2nd at 2:00 PM at the Pioneer Center.

Spirit of the Season features the Reno Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus, plus special guest performers Joe Gransden on the trumpet, J.R. Johns' Performing Dogs, the Sierra Nevada Children's Choir, students from the Reno Philharmonic's ‘Celebrate Strings' program, Santa Tappers and more. The music program will include holiday music favorites and classic carols such as The Most Wonderful Time of the Year, God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, Sleigh Ride, Baby It's Cold Outside and Winter Wonderland.

Tickets start at $11 plus fees and are on sale now at www.RenoPhil.com and www.PioneerCenter.com, or by calling the Pioneer Center Box Office at (775) 686-6600. Group rates are available by calling the Reno Philharmonic Box Office at (775) 323-6393, but seats are going fast (particularly for the Sunday performance) and this is likely to be a sell-out!
