Senior Day Trip to Nevada City Victorian Christmas Celebration Dec. 5

The Sparks Parks and Recreation Department's annual day trip to Nevada City for the Victorian Christmas celebration has been scheduled for Dec. 5.

Nevada City's landmark historic district is transformed back in time with Christmas melodies and costumed characters taking visitors to another place and time.

Participants will be transported by charter buses departing at 2:30 p.m. that day.

The cost is $40 per person and there is financial assistance available for eligible seniors age 50+.
