Moana Diverging Diamond, Meadowood Interchange to Open

There will be a ribbon cutting Tuesday on the state's first diverging diamond interchange at 580 and Moana Lane in south Reno.

This project will have traffic by I-580 switch to the opposite side so you can now make a free left turn onto the interstate.

The widening work along Moana Lane finished about two weeks ago.

And - just down the road the Meadowood Mall interchange is set to open on Thanksgiving Day.

Once finished, that area will have new frontage roads, and on and off ramps for easier mall access.
