CCSN Holds 'Operation Stocking Stuffer' for Children

Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada is holding its annual Operation Stocking Stuffer for area children.

People can donate pre-filled Christmas stockings for children (ages 0-17) served by programs at CCSNN.

Suggestions for stockings:

Infant- age 2: blanket and stuffed animal

Age 3-5: Toys and treats

Grades 1-3: Toys and treats

Grade 4-6: Toys and treats

Age 13-17: Scarf set, toiletries, gift cards

You can also donate items to be put into the stockings. Do not wrap the items. If you are donating stuffed stockings, please label each with gender and age group.

A holiday party will be held to distribute the socks to area kids on December 21st at St. Vincent's Dining Room located at 500 E. 4th Street in Reno.

Volunteers are also needed to sort, organize and distribute the stockings.
