Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe Opens Today

Mt. Rose opens for the season on Wednesday, Nov. 21st with top to bottom skiing and riding.  We plan to open the main side of the mountain, including the Northwest Magnum 6 lift, from 9:00am-4:00pm.

Lifts scheduled to operate at 9:00am  

(wind and weather permitting):

  • Northwest Magnum 6
  • Lakeview
  • Ponderosa
  • Galena 

Terrain available: 

Many trails on the main side will be available including:

  • Upper Northwest  
  • Kit Carson Bowl 
  • Ramsey's
  • Ponderosa, Galena & Around the World
  • Select face runs (not groomed)

  • Guest Services 8:00am-4:30pm

PARKING- Please park at the Main Lodge. 

Season Passholders: Pass photos will be available Guest Services in the main lodge  starting at 8:00am.
