Reno police say a woman who went missing last Friday was found unharmed in Reno the day after Thanksgiving.
Police say they found 60-year-old Colleen Spencer at 4th Street and Evans Avenue in good condition around 1:30pm today. They say Spencer was found sitting on a bench after checking herself into a homeless shelter.
People at the shelter recognized her and alerted police.
Last Sunday, search and rescue crews searched for Spencer near Rock Boulevard and Longley Lane, the area where she was last seen.
Police were concerned about her welfare since they say may have dementia.
