Semi Truck Accident On I-80 In Sparks Area

The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating after a semi-truck was involved in an accident Saturday morning.

Troopers say it happened around 11 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 80 near the McCarran Boulevard exit in Sparks.

Troopers on scene say the semi somehow crashed into the median and they are still looking into how it exactly happened.

Troopers say the eastbound lanes were at a standstill for awhile as crews cleaned up the accident.
