Rollover Accident Off Mount Rose Highway Saturday

The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating after a vehicle rollover off of Mount Rose Highway Saturday morning.

Troopers say a vehicle went a couple dozen feet off an embankment near Mount Rose Ski Tahoe around 10:30 a.m. The person inside was reportedly not injured. The roads were slick from snow at the time of the accident, so investigators believe that may have been a factor.

Troopers are urging drivers to be extra careful while driving in wet weather, especially on sharp turns like the ones on Mount Rose Highway.
