Friday, is Wear Your Denim to Work Day.

It's the kick off to the Reno Rodeo Denim Drive, now in its 7th year.

This drive helps neglected infants, children and teens who have been rescued from unsafe homes in Northern Nevada.

Because of this drive, thousands of children have clothes to wear.

When you think about who these clothes go to, you really can't help but pitch in.

"They came from circumstances that are just unimaginable," said the Executive Director of the Reno Rodeo Foundation Marie Baxter. "As a community, when we step up and give them new jeans, new socks, new underwear, we give them a sense of confidence when they go to school and just really let them know people care about them."

The drive runs through December 17th. All you have to do is buy some new socks, underwear or jeans of any size for any child and bring them to any one of 110 drop off sites across Northern Nevada.

If you don't have time to go shopping, you can always donate money. Baxter says 100% of that goes to buying children clothes.

There's another unique way you can help out as well.

"You can make a donation at any Nevada State Bank, Papa Murphy's Pizza locations or Scolari's and you just give a dollar and they have a little pocket they put on the wall with your name that says you've supported kids."
