Woman Dies After Vehicle vs Pedestrian at Plumas and McCarran
Reno police say a pedestrian suffered fatal injuries after being hit by a car near south McCarran Boulevard and Plumas Street on Sunday night.
Police say the car was heading east on McCarran when it hit a woman at Plumas around 8:30pm. The unidentified woman was unconscious when taken by REMSA to a nearby hospital for treatment, she died later that night.
Police say the unidentified driver is cooperating with the investigation and say alcohol may be a factor in the accident.
