The Truckee Police Department have a suspect behind bars, and other potential suspects are under investigation, after a large pot bust.
Police say they were in the Sierra Meadows area to look for a suspicious person. While in the area, they say they talked to a man at his home and found more than 30 pounds of processed marijuana, along with an area where marijuana plants were being grown.
Police say the processed marijuana was packaged for sale in large half pound-to-pound quantities. They say the estimated street value of the seized marijuana is about $75,000.
Police are not releasing the identities of the suspect(s) involved at this time.
