Just two days after the re-election of President Obama, Latino voters flexed their political muscle in Reno.
"We're important. If somebody wants to win the election they need to listen to Latino issues," says PLAN Community Organizer Elvira Diaz.
The Progressive Leadership Alliance of Nevada (PLAN) says it helped get Latinos to the polls nationwide helping President Obama win a second term.
Now they say they're hoping to see a greater focus on comprehensive immigration reform from both sides of the aisle.
"The Republicans and everything are now talking about comprehensive immigration reform and finding a way so that in 2016 they can actually being over some Latinos to the other side," says PLAN Board President Theresa Navarro.
PLAN says 80% of Latinos in Nevada voted in Tuesday's election.
