CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) -- Secretary of State Ross Miller says agents have arrested a woman in Las Vegas for attempting to vote twice in the presidential election.
A criminal complaint filed Friday accuses Roxanne Rubin of voting at a polling location in Henderson on Oct. 29, then trying to vote again at a polling site in Las Vegas on the same day.
Miller says poll workers questioned Rubin when they found her name in a database, but she denied having voted. Election workers did not allow Rubin to vote again, and reported the incident to the Clark County registrar, who notified the secretary of state.
Rubin was charged with one felony count of voting more than once in the same election.
Miller says election agents are investigating at least one similar case.
